So you have a great case but opposing counsel is an a** and pushes you to the edge. The judge is indifferent, unmoved and unconcerned in general (or maybe the judge is a jerk too). The rule of law is clearly not being considered, upheld or respected. And you’re at your wits end trying to make the best case for your client.

Well you better bite your tongue and not drop any F-bombs on the judge (as much as he or she probably deserves it) and keep yourself calm and professional in a courtroom setting. Otherwise, you may be held criminal contempt of court for your contemptuous outburst intentionally and willfully interrupting judicial proceedings. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.
